Hi all, I have a bit of an issue with the 'Documents' folder duplicating automatically inside the User folder and it appearing on the desktop - even after deleting it multiple times it just keeps reappearing.. I am using a Dell Inspiron 6400 with 2Gb Ram, 265Mb ATI Graphics card and 1.67Ghz Centrino Due Core 2 Processor using Windows Vista Business.

If anyone can help with this I'd be most appreciated.

I have a backup partition which I put some files and such on. Basically, whenever my desktop or documents folder gets cluttered, I just move everything to it. Because it was only my stuff, my account was the only one with any permissions to access it.

I recently decided to set up a domain. I deleted local accounts and made shiny new roaming profiles instead. As such, the owner of the account is now 'unknown' because it no longer exists. So, of course, I want to take ownership with the new domain account.

I've got file sharing setup on my Vista PC with an XP laptop with the exception of the Documents folder. When setting up the permissions, vista attempts to apply security settings to all the files and folders, however I get an error message saying...
