How can I for windows explorer to always use details view? It seems to default back to icon view every once in a while, usually after reboots it seems.
Vista does not remember folder views. It has a mind of its own!
Can anyone write a script or do something that would prevent vista from messing everything up?
I'll organize certain folders by View -> Large Icons. And out of nowhere, it will change it to Details view.
It even applies Grouping to folders which I never specified that for.!!!!!
Its annoying !!!!!!!!!!! nothing works
I hate the 'details' view which Vista has adopted as default.
In XP, you used to be able to change the view of one folder then click Tools --> Options --> Apply to all folders - but this no longer seems possible in Vista.
Any ideas?
