Has anyone else noticed that in Explorer, if you try to delete or move files (which is a copy followed by a delete), Explorer gives you that annoying message saying Access Is Denied, usually meaning that something has the file open?
I've figured out that most of the time, I simply have to click on a different folder in the Explorer window. It seems like the thumbnails or indexing service are holding up the file operations. This is highly annoying.

I go to what is now my D:\ drive and I right click the folders, Windows, Programs Files, Documents and Settings and click delete. I go through all the UAC process and then i get this message all the time:

I go into the folders and I can delete most of the files out from there but the folders still remain and it is annoying me.

Seriously, kinda pissed off. How can an administrator be denied delete his files in his own system32 folder? I turned of stupid UAC - still access denied. I thought it might be using the file but that goes for every file in the directory including log files which are obviously not in use.
I seriously don't know I been working on this for four hours - somebody please help...
