I've tried a couple of times to defrag my hd, but I'm not sure if anything is happening. Since there is no progress bar or anything that might give the user some indication that something is actually being done, I really don't know what if anything...
Click Start->All Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Disk Defragmentor. This will show the last time that a scheduled defrag was done.

It doesnt seem to work .. just hangs forever and never completes.Sure would have been nice if M$ would let us see whats happening like they did in XPAnyway Its it safe to defrag my Vista partition from my XP MCE partition ??
Is there a way to get a visual version of defrag in Vista? Like in XP? Would be nice to have to visual there.
