Compaq Presario v2000-No Sound?????

My Presario worked fine untill I Installed vista ultamate x64. Now I have no sound and none of the drivers I tried worked. The Xp,windows x64 XP, or the Vista Drivers. If Anyone can help let me Know.

Ok today my MHz said 797 now its saying 1.60 MHz whats going on with my MHz?? I have a Compaq Presario V2000 Laptop with 384 MB of RAM So is this bad should I get more GHz?
