I changed the location of the windows mail store folder during some testing of a problem I was having. Symptoms disappeared after I uninstalled McAffee AV. Now I'd like to return my store folder to the default location, but when I try to browse to the default location(from within the change store folder location window), it won't display AppData under the C:\users\computer name\.

I've tried changing views to show hidden files and folders etc, but no change.

Can you help?

Hi, I just got vista and was trying to personalize it...I changed my folder for my temporary internet files to the following: c:\Users\dagdagdag\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\I can view the files if I go to Tools>Internet Options>Browsing...

I just bought a new computer with Vista Home Premium. I am trying to install Paint Shop Pro XI and am running into problems. Everytime I try to install the update for Vista I get the following message

"Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later"

Followed by underneath

"Required white space was missing. Error processing resource 'file:///C:/Users/dell/Documents/PSP1120_EN_DE_FR_ES_IT_NL_CORE..."

Any idea how to fix this?

I use Gmail as my default E-mail program, so I wanted easy access on the desktop. So I dragged the little picture from the Url bar onto my desktop. When I double clicked it Firefox opened a new tab and gave me a blank page with this in the Url bar. file:///C:/Users/Tadd/Desktop/Gmail.url (My name is Tadd).
