Another question if anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.....

For some reason, if I leave my laptop on for some time and come back to it. I will open up the lid and the screen will be black. When the screen finally comes to, I get the user sign in screen where I am to type my password... no biggie right? of course not. But whenever I try to type, nothing happens. It is like my computer is frozen. I have to then manually turn off my computer and turn it back on. When I turn it on, I get a blue screen saying there was an error. It suggest drivers to be updated but all of my drivers are up to date. Is there any way of fixing this inconvienance? Thank you.

I have a brand new computer with flat screen. I am not even playing any games and my screen keeps going black and recovering from an error. I got this computer as a gift a week ago for my birthday and I have to tell you I am not liking Windows Vista...

I recently updated to Windows Vista on an older laptop, it's running a little slow but everything seems to work besides Media Center.

I'm playing single-player and when it finishes loading it has a black-screen?
A plain black screen.
I tried going to Properties->Run in->Windows XP SP2
Amd it's still a black screen.
Is this a Direct X 10 problem?
