I am one of the official Microsoft Windows Vista's BETA tester, and I think Microsoft should give free version of Windows Vista to every official BETA tester.
I was a beta and RC tester who submitted several bug reports. I guess I must be 'out of touch', but only recently I learned that I would therefore be eligible for a 'thank you' free Vista Ultimate download. My e-mails sometimes get deleted by my wife if I have not read them in a week or so. In any event, I was hoping there might be someone here who could help me with my problem....
I bought a new machine over the weekend with Vista Basic. I was a Vista beta tester and I should be getting a copy of Premium in the mail shortly, so I opted out of the upgrade at the store. When my Premium arrives, can I just throw it in and have it upgrade over Basic, or do I need to purchase the "anytime upgrade" CD to do this?
I never really had much of a chance to do much with the Beta version, so I'm sure that once I'm up and running with this new machine, I'll be 'round here a bunch, so thanks in advance.

Call-Center can give me any information about it.
