When im gonna play battlefield 2142 with my mates ventrilo just buggs.. Its when i klick the push to talk key it dosent work but when i tab out of battlefield it works but not when im playing... Oh and im running vista home premium!
Please help me!
For me, Battlefiled 2142 may or may not play fine, I dont know, because upon loading the main menu, the screen is jumpy, and the mouse trail, and every piece of visual data is falling apart, any reasons? or solutions?
I just bought BattleField 2142 the other day and I installed it. I got the latest version of the patch too. I played the game as administrator and every thing was going fine. Then I got a message on the bottom of the screen 10 mins into the online game that had to do with PunkBuster. So Punk Buster kicked me from the server.
I went into the properties of BattleField 2142 and changed its compatibility to Windows XP Service Pack 2. I then went to play the game as administrator and a message poped up saying "Please ensure Battlefield 2142 Install Disk is in the drive, select Ok and restart the application."
I received my new computer a few days ago from ABS and I've been plagued with Blue Screen crashes during Quake 4, Battlefield 2142 and DVD movie playback (with WMP and WMC). The crashes come randomly. Sometimes it happens within minutes of loading...
I'm not sure which party this would be more appropriately directed to (probably Vista, but I'm going to post this on multiple forums), but has anyone who is running Windows Vista had a problem on Battlefield 2 / Battlefield 2 PRMM / Battlefield 2142 where you can load up and play the first map that you jump into, and then in the middle of loading the second map the game just crashes? (booting you back to the desktop) This is quite frustrating as I find this game quality yet am unable to play two maps in succession without getting a CTD (crash to desktop). Would I have to wait on a Vista patch from EA for this problem to go away, or do I have to rely on Microsoft to get their act together on this?
