Ok,

beyond frustrated. I am enduring system freeze ups in which my mouse pointer stops and I have no response from the system. I've tried hitting escape twice, ctrl/alt/delete to bring up task manager to no avail. I have to hard reboot, mash the power button until system shuts down. I've been through msn tech support up to but not including Bill Gates. I've reinstalled Vista Ulitmate (upgrade cd), i've done regedits, msconfigs, startup progs, yes i've even done the upgrade advisor which blows me kisses and tells me i have a fandabulous system (a score of 4.2 on the WEI...everyting else is just shy of 6) processor is a AMD 64 4000+ San Diego best single core AMD makes so I dont wanna hear that dual core nonsense).

I just bought an Acer T130 (just out) with an AMD 64 2x dual core 2.0Ghz, 1 gig of ram, and 250GB HDD pre-loaded with Vista home premium. I really like the system. I just installed winamp 5.3 and it runs smooth.I think this box will run stellar...
