When i'm surfing the web or playing need for speed most wanted online, put of the blue, for no reason, i get kicked offline. I have to unplug my modem (charter Cable) and plug it back up to reset it. Then it works fine for about another 15 or 20 minutes. I have the A8N32-SLI deluxe motherboard running Vista ^$ bit. I have the onboard marvell yukon mini port driver for the 64 bit OS. this just started happening a few days ago. Can anyone help me please?!

as some of you may or may not know, i was saving up for a very very high end gaming pc, and was hoping to get it in about 2-3 months, however i've decided to put it on hold for now as, when i do get it it'll have a 64 bit os, and im starting to think that 64-bit needs to mature a bit, also the price was/is to high so i'll need to save up more ££, after i had brought it, i was going to then save up for a very low end laptop to, well just have the choice of laying in bed all day on the internet

I have an AMD 64 bit 3500 and was curious. I'm currently running Media Center Edition 2005 (unavailable in 64 bit), and will soon be running Vista Home Professional (the 32 bit version)

Hey guys, I'm planning to buy Windows Vista Ultimate and I'm planning to initially install it as a 64-bit OS. I have NEVER tried a 64-bit OS before, and I would love to see what it can do, but are there any major downsides to it? I have an AMD 4200+...

Vista 64-bit installed without any major problems, but there are some things I'd like to address and comment about:

In the Vista OS there is still no DV (Digital Video) to WebCam Converter driver/codec! I have been using one from Orangeware for Windows XP (32-bit). I tried to install it, but it doesn't work! Why has there been no driver/codec developed for this yet?

Why are the audio and video codecs missing from the sound/video area of the Device Manager?

Speaking about Vista 32-bit and 64-bit... Again, I see NO audio OR video codecs in the sound/video area of the Device Manager! But I know there all many installed for both the 32-bit and 64-bit programs. I assume the Device Manager is for just the 64-bit OS? Wouldn't it be nice if there was also a Device for the 32-bit programs also??? There are separate PROGRAM FILE Directories for both 32-bit and 64-bit... wouldn't it make sense to also have a separate Device Manager???
