Marketers are building presences on Second Life, but residents aren't visiting. Marketers need to understand Second Life before building their presences, if building them at all.

An email from a new Second Life friend last night about setting up an office has caused me to reflect on our internal business experiences in the last few weeks. As I mentioned in an earlier entry, we have an office building on the IBM land and it is only accessible by IBM internals.

Like many things in life there are more than one way to become a Furniture Tester. The question is do you want to work as a furniture tester in a certification laboratory or do you want to be a certified Furniture Testing Engineer in the same company or open your own company some day. If you are still in high school you need to learn as much about wood and furniture as you can. Taking wood shop is a great start. If you have opportunities to work in a furniture manufacturing company that will also give you a head start.
