Hi, I just got vista and was trying to personalize it...I changed my folder for my temporary internet files to the following: c:\Users\dagdagdag\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\I can view the files if I go to Tools>Internet Options>Browsing...

Hi.

Can someone of you guys please tell me the path to the Temporary Internet files.

I tried this:

C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

But that's not the right folder because it is always empty.

And if I try this path:

C:\Users\Tommy\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\

Which is the right one I think but there is no folder Temporary Internet Files.
If I open it from the Internet Options, it shows this path:

C:\Users\Tommy\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

Hi! I'm just wondering if you RA a person using a XP from Vista.
One such example is myself and my dad.

He uses Windows XP, and I am now, but in a few weeks I'm changing to Windows Vista Ultimate.

I'm wondering if I could RA my dad from Vista.

But don't worry I've found out how to do anyway.

I have a network with windows xp, vista and 98 (lol). Before i upgraded to vista this network was a well oiled machine and everyhting worked fine. When i got vista i when through the network setup wizard and it worked.

I am however expierencing trouble with fie sharing. I view every file shared on the dell on vista. But when i go to the dell to view the vista files i have major problems. I can see all the folders shared but i cant acess them no matter what i try it wont work. I get this message thats on the attatchment.

I purchased a new computer a couple weeks ago:
HP a1700n
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ dual core processor
250 GB hard drive
1 GB ram (expandable to 4 GB)
Windows Vista Home Premium

My problem is with the hard drive space. 250 GB is more than enough space for me, but the problem is that it's started disappearing for no reason. When I got it, it had around 230 GB which was fine, and after I transferred my files/programs from my old computer it had around 200-210 GB. Well lately it's just disappeared without me even saving anything or downloading hardly anything. It went from 200 to 193 to 187 to 183 somehow.
