I have tryed almost everything i can think and none seems to work,

If no one has a solution not to worrie its being collected on Wednesday for repairs.

But if i can fix it, Will help my knoledge and get me back to work faster )

Well, I see in the task manager my Physical Memory is at 45%. Right now I have 1 GB of memory (Corsair XMS PC2700 FYI). Does that sound a bit low, or am I just crazy? I understand that Vista has all the gadgets and such that will require more memory, but more than half my memory? Should I get a 512/1gb stick of new mem, or what? I would like to be able to keep all the Windows Aero stuff on, but any advice?

COMPUTER : Intel® Pentium ® 4 , CPU 3.00 GHz ; 1 GB Ram .Before I installed Vista Ultimate i backed up all my files on my external harddrive (ethernet) and after installation I am having problems accesing my network hard drive which is connected to my wired home network over 1 gb switch . My computer finds the external hard drive but sees it as another computer. And when i try accessing it , i open it and i can see all my folders but when i try opening them or copying them explorer stops responding.I think the problem might be that the external drive was set up when i was using Windows XP and maybe therefore i can't access my files .

System bios detects all 4 GB, but Vista OS only shows 2047 MB. Motherboard is ASUS P5B-VM. Memory is four DIMMS of Kingston’s HyperX® PC2-8500 (1066-MHz), 1 GB each.

i know this is kinda off topic but i need more ram to run vista and can i put a single 1 gb card and a 256 or just the 1 gb card in my computer when i have duall channel memory (i currrently have two 256 mb cards)

My PC Config:
Athlon XP 3000+, 1 GB RAM, 7900GT, 160 GB HDD

I installed XP first on C drive and then Vista on D drive as dual boot
Everything was working fine till i changed the page file settings to 2400 - 2800 MB on a non-system partition
Vista started to hang and mouse cursor was moving once for 5-6 seconds and so on
Its happens frequently but not always
Even Ctrl+Alt+Del did not work, I had to restart the base unit to get through this

Anyone had similar problem and want to know if its something to do with page file and if there is any fix for it

I bought a Dell at Christmas time , with XP Media Center installed. I received a Vista Premium Upgrade disc with it. I ordered it equipped ready for Vista, without problems. It has an Intel Pentium D Processor 820 with Dual Core Technology, 1 GB...

I am thinking about upgardeing my laptop memory to 2 GB instead of 1 GB. I have two half GB in my computer right now, and I am thinking of buying two 1 GB sticks to put in my laptop.
